Key specs:
The newly introduced Cincon CHM150 series is a highly reliable 150W medical isolated DC-DC converter packaged in an industry-standard half-brick form factor. Designed for critical medical applications, the series operates from a 2:1 input voltage range of 18-36 VDC (24V nominal) .

The Cincon CHM150 series offers three fully regulated single-output voltages: 12V, 15V, and 24V. Control and monitoring functions include standard Remote On/Off capabilities (available in both Positive and Negative logic), providing system designers with flexible power sequencing and efficient control.
Exceptional Performance:
The CHM150 series boasts remarkable electrical characteristics and thermal stability. It demonstrates high operational efficiency, reaching up to 91.5%. A standout feature is its impressive thermal resilience; it operates reliably over a wide case temperature range from -40°C to +100°C utilizing an aluminum baseplate optimized for conduction cooling.
Furthermore, the series is engineered for demanding and diverse global environments, featuring a high operating altitude capability of up to 5,000m. In addition to its core performance, the CHM150 maintains excellent energy efficiency with a low no-load power consumption of merely 10mA.
Full Protections:
Safety and reliability are paramount in the CHM150 design. The series strictly adheres to IEC/UL 60601-1 3rd Edition safety requirements, offering 2 MOPP (Means of Patient Protection). It provides an outstanding 5000Vac input-to-output isolation specifically rated for a 250Vac working voltage.
Integrated protections ensure system longevity and safety, including Over Temperature Protection (OTP), Over Current Protection (OCP), Over Voltage Protection (OVP), and Under Voltage Lockout (UVLO). The design meets the stringent CF (Cardiac Floating) rated medical application requirements, featuring a remarkably low leakage current less than 10uA. The series also complies with EN 60601-1-2, EN 55032, and EN 55035 for comprehensive EMC and EMS performance. Reliability is heavily supported by an extraordinary MTBF rating of up to 1,725,000 hours (for the 24V model) per MIL-HDBK-217F.
Applications:
This robust medical DC-DC converter is ideally suited for a wide range of clinical and healthcare applications. Target sectors include medical imaging, life science equipment, surgical tools, and patient monitoring systems. Its ability to deliver highly isolated power with ultra-low leakage current in a compact, baseplate-cooled package makes it an extremely versatile and safe choice for CF-type medical devices.
