Key specs:

      Cincon’s new EC2SAW8, EC3SAW8, and EC4SAW8 series are compact, high-isolation DC-DC converters designed for a wide range of industrial applications, providing 2W, 3W, and 6W of regulated output power. Featuring an ultra-wide 8:1 input range and a small footprint (0.86" x 0.36" x 0.44" / 21.8 x 9.2 x 11.1 mm), these converters meet IEC/UL/EN 62368-1 standards and offer 3000VDC isolation between input and output.

      The series are available with single output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, or 15VDC, and dual outputs of ±5, ±12, or ±15VDC, while incorporating remote on/off control for ease of system integration.

      

 

Exceptional Performance:

      With an input range from 9 to 75VDC, the EC2SAW8, EC3SAW8, and EC4SAW8 series are suitable for common industrial and ITE power systems such as 12V, 24V, 48V, and 54VDC. They deliver high efficiency up to 88% and ensure reliable performance under harsh conditions, operating across wide case temperature ranges of -40°C to +110°C (EC2SAW8, EC3SAW8) and -40°C to +120°C (EC4SAW8).

 

Comprehensive protection:

      Engineered with comprehensive protection features, including under-voltage lockout, output over-current protection, and continuous short-circuit protection, these converters meet key safety and EMI standards such as IEC/UL 62368-1 and EN 55032 Class A and Class B (with external filter). Notably, the EC2SAW8, EC3SAW8, and EC4SAW8 series require fewer external components to achieve Class B compliance compared to similar DC-DC converters, simplifying design and integration.

      With their ultra-wide input range, the EC2SAW8, EC3SAW8, EC4SAW8 series support a broad spectrum of applications such as sensors, control circuits, and communication modules for industrial automation & control, data acquisition systems, measurement devices, test instruments, transceivers, base stations, network communication equipment, and battery-operated and distributed power systems.
