While developing a product, engineers may spend lots of time on solving annoying EMI issues in the systems. In this case, EMI filter modules are solutions to the problems.
EMI filter modules are created to reduce the common-mode and differential-mode noise on input or output lines of high-frequency switching power supplies, with the industry standard footprint. With just one module, Cincon saves the trouble for the customers for meeting the EMI requirements of applications. In addition, Cincon offers detailed application notes with circuit layout and other helpful information to support engineers.
Take FM05D200P for example:
For railway application, the FM30R080P output filter is required for output conducted noise to meet EN50155, EN50121-3-2:2015. FM05D200P has no internal fuse. In order to achieve maximum safety and system protection, always use an input line fuse. We recommended a 7A time delay fuse for all models.
Note: C1, C2 are CHEMICON 220uF/200V KXJ series aluminum capacitors,
C3, C4 are ceramic capacitor
C5, C6 are NC.
CY1, CY2, CY3, CY4 are TDK Y1 capacitors or equivalent.

Another example is FM10/20:
For ITE application, the FM10/20-100 input filters are required for input conducted noise to meet EN55032. The filter modules have no internal fuse. In order to achieve maximum safety and system protection, always use an input line fuse. Please select the suitable fuse with DC-DC converter.
